Promotional games: prize wheel, scratch card, plinko and doors
With Promyza you can run the same promotion in four different formats. You choose the prizes and how it is played; your customers take part from their phone, with nothing to install.
One system, four ways to play
Every Promyza campaign has a game type. It is the first thing you choose when you create it: prize wheel, scratch card, plinko or pick a door.
They all work the same behind the scenes: the customer scans a QR code, registers with their consent, plays, discovers their prize and receives it by email to redeem at your business.
Only the experience changes. It is a way to bring gamification to your business without any coding: you set up the promotion and Promyza takes care of the rest.
The four games at a glance
| Game | How it is played | Best for | Available on |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🎡 Prize wheel | The customer spins the wheel and it stops on a prize. | Any promotion; it is the easiest format to explain. | All plans, including Free |
| 🎫 Scratch card | The customer scratches a cheque with a finger to reveal the prize. | Receipts, coupons and purchase promotions. | Growth and Business |
| 🎯 Plinko | The customer chooses where to drop the ball and it bounces down to a prize. | Trade fairs, events and more exciting promotions. | Business |
| 🚪 Pick a door | The customer picks one of four doors and it opens to show the prize. | Quick draws and busy counters. | Business |
Prize wheel
The classic everyone understands. The customer presses the button, the wheel spins and stops on one of the prizes you have defined, each with its own stock and probability.
It is the best choice if you want to start fast: it needs no explanation and works in any sector, from a bar to a trade fair stand.
- Prizes, stock and probability are configurable
- Your logo and colours on paid plans
- Available on every plan, including the free one
Scratch card
A digital cheque with a silver area. The customer scratches it with a finger (or the mouse) and, once uncovered, sees their prize or a “better luck next time” message.
It feels like the scratch tickets people know, which is why it hooks: scratching and revealing is very different from spinning a wheel. It includes a default “No prize” entry whose probability is the only thing you adjust.
- Custom cheque with your campaign name
- The “No prize” result sends no email
- From the Growth plan
Plinko
A ball drops through rows of pegs into one of the slots at the bottom, each holding a prize. The customer chooses where to release it and watches it bounce to its result.
It adds excitement and motion: very visual, and especially good at trade fairs, events and on screens. As in the other games, the prize is decided by the system using the probabilities you have set.
- Six drop points to release the ball
- Slots with your prizes and the “No prize” one
- Exclusive to the Business plan
Pick a door
Four closed doors with a prize behind each. The customer picks one, it opens and they find out what they have won; then the other doors open to show what was behind them.
It is the simplest and quickest game to play, ideal for queues, counters or whenever each participant should take just a few seconds. The suspense lies in the choice.
- Four doors and a result in seconds
- The other doors open at the end for extra fun
- Exclusive to the Business plan
Whichever game you choose, you stay in control
You define each prize, how many units there are and how often it comes up. The system always decides the prize using those probabilities, not the player’s choice.
Everything runs in the phone browser when scanning the QR or opening the promotion link.
You choose which data to ask for and include their consent. It is a tidy way to collect customer data.
On paid plans, your logo and colours appear in the game and in the emails your customers receive.
All four games and the prize email are available in Spanish, English, French, Italian and German.
Participant list, CSV download and prize redemption with a QR or from the dashboard, so each prize is handed over only once.
Which game suits your promotion?
No game is better than another: it depends on where you will show the promotion and how much time you want each customer to spend.
Not sure? You can create campaigns of different types in the same account, within your plan limits, and see which works best with your customers.
Questions about Promyza games
Which game types can I use in my promotions?
You can choose from four: prize wheel, scratch card, plinko and pick a door. The game type is chosen when you create the campaign.
Which plans include each game?
The prize wheel is on every plan, including the free one. The scratch card is on the Growth and Business plans. Plinko and pick a door are exclusive to the Business plan.
Does choosing the door or the ball drop point change my chances of winning?
No. The prize is always decided by the system using the probabilities the business has set. The player’s choice is part of the experience but does not change the outcome.
What is the “No prize” result?
Scratch card, plinko and pick a door include a fixed “No prize” entry by default. You only decide its probability, and whoever gets it receives no prize email.
Can I run several game types at once?
Yes. Each campaign has one game type, and you can create campaigns of different types within the active-campaign limit of your plan.
Do my customers need to install an app?
No. All games open in the phone browser when scanning the QR code or opening the promotion link.
How much does it cost?
There is a free plan with no card to start, and paid plans from €9.99/month, VAT included. The extra games are unlocked with the Growth and Business plans.
